Lucky was so named because he was chosen from a rescue shelter. He spent his first two years with Bill Marshall and then burst unexpectedly into our life. Never having been around a Border Collie, I was startled by the intense stare and absolute awarness of my body language and mood. Never have I been around a sweeter dispositioned, more endearing dog who only wanted to please. There truly was not a mean bone in his body and he brought so much joy into our lives. His name was Lucky, but truly, any one who spent time with this dog was lucky! There is a huge hole in our hearts now that he is gone. He will be forever loved and remembered.
